The holiday season is a great time to get up to some reindeer games at work! Here at Vitality South, we like to have fun at work! We like to enjoy the time spent at work and with one another. It is part of the reason our work culture is so fantastic. We create an environment that we want to be in. Here are a few ways we celebrate the season in our office:
Aspen the Elf of the Shelf:
We have an office Elf on the Shelf. We have fun looking for were our little elf friend has hidden for the day and the games and happy’s that Aspen brings along. Here are some ideas for an elf takeover at your office:
1. Desk Takeover: The elf sits at the boss’s desk, wearing glasses and “working” on a report with sticky notes everywhere.
2. Countdown Elf: Each day, the elf holds a sign counting down to a holiday sale or event.
3. Elf Selfie Station: Create a small holiday scene for customers to take photos with the elf.
4. Tree-Climbing Elf: The elf is midway up the office Christmas tree, holding ornaments.
6. Holiday Movie Marathon: The elf sits with mini popcorn and a tablet showing a Christmas classic.
7. Motivational Elf: It holds a tiny sign saying, “You’ve got this!” or “Santa’s watching!”
8. Elf Meeting: The elf hosts a meeting with toy figures or printed photos of employees.
Christmas Party:
We get crunk at our building-wide Christmas party that has music, drinks, food, and joyous celebrations! Last year featured a 360 camera for fun memories to last. We enjoy each other and the time we have together.
Dirty Santa or Secret Santa:
Over the years, we have had fun gifting one another through games such as dirty Santa or secret Santa. All, of course, work appropriately themes. But it is a fun way to get everyone involved.
Decorating the office:
We also decorate the office together to ensure the Christmas spirit fills the workspace with colorful lights and sparkling ornaments. We are a festive bunch that loves enjoy the season together.
