The Heart of the Tri-Counties
Incorporated in 1888 and settled even earlier, the Town of Sherman holds a unique place in Northeast Mississippi. Appropriately known as the “Heart of the Tri-Counties,” Sherman is a one-of-a-kind community that straddles the borders of Pontotoc, Union, and Lee counties. From its roots with early settlers and the founding of the Mississippi Normal Institute to a legacy of producing state auditors and international consuls, Sherman is a town with a rich, storied past.
Today, Sherman remains a vibrant hub for its residents. However, as the world moves faster, the town recognized that its "digital front door" needed to match the quality of its community. To better serve their citizens, municipal leaders sought a modern upgrade to their outdated infrastructure—one that could honor their 19th-century roots while providing 21st-century convenience.

To help the Town of Sherman move from frustrating, clunky systems to a seamless digital experience, Vitality South designed and launched a Citizen-First Portal. We understood that a municipal website is more than just a page; it’s a vital tool for daily life.
We completely overhauled the site’s architecture, streamlining navigation so that residents can effortlessly pay bills, check community schedules, and find essential local resources. Not only did we create a polished, professional presence the town can be proud of, but we also ensured the back-end was easy for town staff to manage and update. Now, Sherman has a digital home that is as welcoming and efficient as the town itself.
